What We Do

Content Managed Websites

We put website content in your control through an easy to use visual editor. This allows you to keep your website content fresh and interactive while at the same time affordable.

Pixelware provides both custom-built content management systems as well as helping setup off-the-shelf systems such as Wordpress. Below are some examples of the work we have done.

  • Example Website: Families First

Families First needed a content management system so they could update their website themselves. As a non-profit it was important that they keep their site fresh without having to get an expert in web technologies to help them with each small change.

Without our partner Red Tusk Studios we put together a custom content management system with a custom design that met their needs.

  • Example Website: Eco Custom Homes

Eco Custom Homes needed a cost effective solution for getting a blog up and running for their company while still maintaining a very custom look.

We integrated our partner Red Tusk Studios's design into wordpress to get them up and running in record time.

  • Example Website: SS&G

SS&G has many different services they offer. This means a big website with lots of content. Rather than having to hire someone to maintain all this content they had us create a custom content management system to meet their needs and allow each department to maintain it's own content.

They now have a high impact website with up-to-date content at a fraction of the cost.

Website Interactivity

Creating a interactive website doesn't just get attention. When applied correctly it can contribute greatly towards the usability of the application by allowing information to reveal itself when appropriate. Some of our work is developing advanced JavaScript animations to allow for highly interactive websites. Below are some examples of the work we have done.

  • Example Website: Conrad Lyles

Conrad Lyles wanted their clients to be able to search for homes visually in addition to a standard list. We utilized Google Maps public API along with some custom JavaScript coding to create the exact experience he wanted his users to have.

  • Example Website: Conrad Lyles

Conrad Lyles wanted to show all the photos available for a property but not have it take up the entire page.

Utilizing a custom-written bit of JavaScript they have a animation that automatically scrolls through the photos featuring each one for a few seconds. If the visitor sees a photo they like they can simply click it and navigate to the photos that interest them.

  • Example Website: Carter Baldwin

Carter Baldwin wanted emphasize their national reach with an animated map.

Our parter Red Tusk had made the flash animation but changing out clients was costly. Pixelware was able to implement some code to dynamically pull the client logos from a database allowing the flash content to be managed by the CMS. This means lower maintenance costs for Carter Baldwin.

Web-based Business Applications

Much of our web work is not for a traditional website but instead a web-based business application. Like traditional software, our web-based applications allow a business to automate the tedious work and track important details. But unlike traditional software our solutions are delivered via web technologies to allow for instant deployment, instant updates, simplified management and leveraging the rapid pace of web development to deliver a custom solution matching a businesses needs exactly.

  • Example Application: Forrer Portal

Forrer & Associates needed to collect a lot of information about their candidates to find the right opportunity for them. Collecting all this information was time consuming and would often get out-of-date.

Candidates can now manage this information themselves. The information the candidates enter feeds directly into Forrer's CRM (Goldmine).

  • Example Application: PPS
    Example Application: PPS

Ronald Blue & Company needed a way to streamline how they give their financial advice. They had a new contract with a large group so their traditional one-on-one methods were not going to work.

We developed a custom web-based application with our partner CorData to allow individual to enter their financial information. RonBlue then communicated back to the client through the application.

  • Example Application: Risk Jockey

Stop Loss is a private investigator firm that need a way to transfer documents, audio and video to other parties securely.

We developed a custom web-based application with our partner CorData to allow users to upload evidence into a secure website. Uploaded video is even automatically converted from any format into Flash Video for in-line viewing.
